Annual Fundraiser Dinner
Each November, the Serra Club of Greater Muskegon brings the community together for its annual fundraising dinner, an inspiring evening of fellowship, faith, and purpose. Guests enjoy an uplifting presentation from a distinguished Catholic speaker whose message encourages and strengthens our shared commitment to fostering vocations and serving the Church.
Seminarian Retreat
One of the most rewarding opportunities for Serra Club members is serving a meal at the conclusion of the annual Seminarian Retreat. This special act of hospitality provides a chance to meet and encourage the seminarians, celebrate their commitment to answering God's call, and demonstrate the support of a faithful community. Through fellowship and conversation, we help strengthen the bonds that connect today's seminarians with the Church they are preparing to serve tomorrow.
Prayer for Vocations
God, Our Father, today may I have an opportunity by my actions to encourage a vocation to the priesthood. Help me to conduct myself in a Christian manner so that I may give proper example, particularly to the young. Through the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit, may I also support those in religious life in their vocation of service to your Church. May the sincerity of my prayer and my concern for vocations result in an increase of laborers for Jesus and His Church.
Amen.
